The Social Media Strategy Summit will be hosted in the Performing Arts and Humanities Building of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County at 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250. If your are not yet familiar with UMBC’s campus, please note that it is located just outside of Baltimore City, five minutes from BWI airport. We ask that event attendees park in Lot 22, just off of Hilltop Road, between Hilltop Circle and Wilkins Avenue.
Driving and Parking
From the north, take Interstate 95 to Route 166 (Exit 47B, Catonsville) or take Interstate 83 to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695, west) and then take Exit 12C (Wilkens Avenue, west); follow the signs to UMBC. Here is a sample map from Towson to UMBC Lot 22.
From the south, take Interstate 95 to Route 166 (Exit 47B, Catonsville); follow signs to UMBC. Here is a sample map from Washington, DC to UMBC Lot 22.
Due to construction at our main campus entrance, we strongly recommend entering campus from Wilkins Avenue. When you arrive at the traffic circle, take Hilltop Road toward campus. Please park in Lot 22, which will be to your left, before Hilltop Circle. To avoid a ticket, print this parking permit and place it in your windshield.
The Performing Arts and Humanities Building is located across the street (diagonally) from Lot 22. Here is a UMBC campus map.
You can also reach UMBC by train. Both Amtrak and MARC commuter trains serve nearby BWI rail station. For information on buses between BWI and UMBC, including schedules and maps, see the UMBC transit website or MTA website. Cabs are also available from the BWI airport and rail station to UMBC, typically costing just under $20 each way.
